What this is
Pink Pay Companion is an independent tool that estimates what a nursing shift is worth. It is built and maintained by one person. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reviewed by any hospital system or employer, and no employer has approved it.
Estimates, not paychecks
Every figure this app produces is an estimate based on the rates and shifts you enter. Pay rules change, units differ, and payroll systems have quirks this app may not know about. Federal tax is estimated unless you calibrate it from your own paystub, and state tax is approximate either way.
Your official paystub and your payroll department are always the final word. Do not use this app as the sole basis for a pay dispute, a financial decision, or a tax filing. If a figure here disagrees with your paystub, verify with payroll before acting on it.
What you're responsible for
You enter your own rates. If they're wrong, the estimates will be wrong. You're responsible for keeping them current when your pay changes.
Lifetime Pro
Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks the features listed at the time of sale, plus future Pro features as they ship. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the product — if the app is ever discontinued, access ends with it. No subscription, no recurring charge.
If Pro doesn't work for you, email within 30 days and you'll get a refund. No argument.
No warranty
This app is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from its use — including decisions made on the basis of an estimate that turned out to be wrong.
Changes
These terms may change. Material changes will be surfaced in the app rather than quietly posted here.
