The short version. Every calculation happens on your device. The pay rates you enter are saved to our database anonymously — with no account needed and nothing attached that identifies you — so the app's built-in defaults can get more accurate. Your shifts, your paystub figures, and your identity are not part of that.
Float rates and differentials vary enormously between units, and the app's built-in defaults come from a very small number of paystubs. To fix that, the rates you type in are recorded — whether or not you have an account, and without any switch to turn on.
This is what gets saved:
This is never saved with it:
Rate records carry no user column and are sent without any sign-in token, even when you are signed in, so there is no server-side trail joining a submission back to a person. They are used only to improve the app's default rates and to understand how pay varies across units. They are not sold, and they are not shared with your employer or anyone else.
Your shifts, the days you pick up, and every figure the app produces are computed on your phone. Without an account, none of that leaves it. There are no ads, no analytics scripts, and no third-party trackers.
Pro needs an account so your setup can sync. That means storing an email address and your saved profile — your rates, shift templates, and job profiles. Payment is handled by the payment processor; card details never reach this app's servers.
Paystub figures you enter for checking are stored with your account so past checks stay available. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time, and it goes for good.
